These are specially designed to make laying tongue-and-groove floor boards simple. You won’t have to wear out your knees. You simply hold the nailer against the tongue side edge of the board and with 2 heavy hits on the plunger head with the included nylon mallet, and the nail is in, at the right angle, and the right depth, every time.
This unit is designed for 3/4 inch thick symmetrical tongue flooring.
Remember these units do require 2 swings per nail. They make small area jobs go fast without needing to use compressors and hoses. If larger areas are being laid you may want to consider a pneumatic unit as they are much less physical work and will speed up the job.
