These are specially designed to make laying tongue-and-groove floor boards simple. You won’t have to wear out your knees. You simply hold the nailer against the tongue side edge of the board and with 2 heavy hits on the plunger head with the included nylon mallet, the nail is in, at the right angle, and the right depth, every time.
This unit is designed for 1/2 inch thick symmetrical tongue flooring.
Remember these units do require 2 swings per nail. They make small area jobs go fast without needing to use compressors and hoses. If larger areas are being laid, consider a pneumatic unit as they are much less physical work and will speed up the job.
