Floor Drum Sander - $49 per day / $38 per 4 hours

If you’ve ever heard the horror floor sanding stories, it’s not these ones they were talking about!

We rent Essex Silverline drum sanders.  This sander features a foam core on the drum, not the old steel drum as found on other floor sanders, which eliminates the chattering and digging that other sanders exhibit during use.  This sander gives the homeowner or contractor a professional job at a fraction of the cost of hiring a finisher to do it for you.  With a few simple steps, you can have new floors again!  Take a moment and read the primer below which describes the process.

And don’t forget…. before you buy your floor finish, compare!  We sell Varathane Urethane, the industry leader in commercial oil and water based urethanes, at great prices.  This product was initially designed for bowling allies, can we really say more?  You can buy urethane for less, but you won’t get the lasting result and protection Vatathane will provide.   We’ve use it on our dance floors and tables here at Taylor.  We think it’s the best.

Remember ONLY sand in the forward direction.  Sanding backwards can lead to a number of problems including chatter marks in the floor, excessive power draw, popping breakers, and machine overheating.  All of which can lead to a poor quality of finish or damage to the machine.
